QTOExport Freemium
QTOExport produces BoQ deliverables from the computed quantities in your model. Two channels are available: Excel computo flat (Free) and XPWE for PriMus (Pay).
Excel computo flat Freemium
What it produces
A flat Excel workbook with one row per tagged element and columns for catalog code, description, unit of measure, computed quantity, work category, and active phase. The output is deliberately denormalised — designed to feed Power BI, pivot tables, or any spreadsheet-driven estimation workflow.
How to run
- On the AEC.codes ribbon tab, click QTOExport.
- Select the Excel tab in the export dialog.
- Choose scope (whole model / active phase / current selection) and output path.
- Click Export.

XPWE for PriMus Pay
Pay-tier feature — disabled in Beta. XPWE export is part of the Pay tier. During the public Beta the corresponding controls in the add-in are visible but disabled. The full description below is provided so you can evaluate whether your workflow needs the Pay tier; XPWE export becomes available when V1.0 ships and a Pay-tier subscription is active.
What XPWE is, and why it matters
XPWE (eXtensible PriMus Work Exchange) is the standard interchange format used by ACCA Software's PriMus suite — the dominant tool in Italian public-procurement BoQ estimation. An XPWE file represents a fully-structured BoQ: chapters, items, quantities, and measurement breakdowns, ready to be opened by a quantity surveyor (computista) in PriMus without any manual reformatting.
For studios delivering BoQs to external estimators or to public clients on the Italian market, XPWE replaces the brittle Excel-then-copy-paste workflow with a single round-trip file.
How it differs from Excel export
| Aspect | Excel computo flat | XPWE for PriMus |
|---|---|---|
| Structure | Flat (one row per element) | Hierarchical (chapters → items → measurement details) |
| Consumer | Power BI, spreadsheets | PriMus and any XPWE-compatible estimating tool |
| Round-trip | Read-only export | Round-trip with the BoQ delivered to the estimator |
| Tier | Freemium | Pay |
How to run (V1.0+)
